Being introduced to Bernadette Peters at an impressionably young age (Into the Woods, Cinderella, Animaniacs, etc.) I would say that she has had a small influence on me and the characters I’ve seen her play may have had a lasting impression on the person I’ve become and strive to be. Unfortunately that person somehow has developed a strong disdain for human beings and maybe a slight animal hoarding problem.
